The 17th plenary session of the International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (ISO/TC86) was held from May 12th to 15th, 2025 in Palm Beach Garden, Florida, USA. This conference attracted 51 industry experts from 17 countries and regions around the world to register and participate, with representatives from 10 countries including China, the United States, and the United Kingdom attending the on-site meeting. Experts from Zhuhai Gree Electric put forward a new proposal at the meeting to establish a “Technical Committee for Testing and Evaluation of Refrigeration Equipment for Cold Storage and Cold Chain Transportation”, demonstrating the innovative leadership ability of Chinese enterprises in the field of international standardization.
